do catholics believe that Jesus is still on the cross?No. Some Catholics would wear a crucifix with Christ on the cross. Other Christians prefer to wear a cross. The catholic view of the need for masses, confession, belief in Purgatory and lack of eternal salvation suggests that the death of Jesus on the cross was not sufficient for their sins.
